  • Users do not have to read instructions before using your interface.
  • Interface does not use jargon in its user interface task and folder text.
  • Use industry-specific or technical terms only if they are clearly understood by the user.
  • Color is used sparingly to enhance the experience
  • Shape and layout provide guidance and direction to guide the user’s tasks
