Reboot the Master Controller

Select Tools > Reboot the Master Controller to access the Reboot the Master Controller dialog. Use the options in this dialog to reboot a specified master controller (FIG. 299).

NOTE: All communications must be stopped before the reboot can be performed. The program will alert you to stop any currently running processes before the Master is rebooted (FIG. 300):

The left side of this dialog lists the Projects and Systems that are included in the currently open Workspace. By default, the currently active System is highlighted. The Master specified in the active (highlighted) System is the one that will be rebooted.

  1. Click on any other System to select a different Master to reboot.
  2. Once the desired System has been selected (highlighted), click the Reboot button to reboot the Master associated with the selected System.
    • All communications to the Master are stopped in order to activate a connection and initiate the reboot process.
    • Allow 20-30 seconds for the reboot.
    • You can reboot more than one Master before closing this dialog.
  3. Click Done to close this dialog.
